
A two-year-old boy has been injured after he somehow made his way onto a luggage conveyor at a US airport.
According to reports in the US, the toddler suffered a broken hand after he was carried along the belt at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.
In CCTV footage which has since been released to the public the little boy named as Lorenzo can be seen climbing across luggage bags before he dissappears into the machine.
Although the infant was eventually picked up by workes at the airport, it is believed that he sustained a fractured hand following his ordeal.
Speaking to reporters the toddler’s mother said that her son got away from her after she sat him down whilst she was printing their boarding passes.
However after turning around she saw her son entering the machine whilst sitting on the belt, she added that she was left in a frantic state and tried everything thing she could to get to her sonz but staff wouldn’t allow her to get to him.
Meanwhile police say they are currently assisting Airport authorities in their investigation which is trying to determine how the toddler made his way onto the conveyor belt without anyone noticing.
