Boy, 6, in critical condition in hospital after being thrown from the 10th floor at London’s Tate Modern




Police in the UK have confirmed that a teenage boy has been arrested after a six-year-old boy was thrown from the tenth-floor viewing platform of London’s Tate Modern gallery, on Sunday.

The arrest comes after the young boy was rushed to hospital following the incident which occurred at approximately 2:45pm yesterday afternoon.

It is reported that the young child was thrown from the platform in front of a number of horrified eye witnesses.

Police investigating the incident say the young boy suffered serious injuries after landing on the fifth floor roof.

Following the incident contemporary art museum was placed on lockdown and officers arrested a 17-year-old teenager in connection with the incident.

It is understood that the teenager is being held on suspicion of attempted murder.
