‘Boy B’ in the Ana Kriegel case has launched an appeal against his murder conviction.
RTE report that the 15-yr-old boy who was referred to in court as Boy B, was found guilty of her murder by a jury and was sentenced to 15 years in detention. He will be reviewed after serving eight years.
The two boys were both 13-yrs-old at the time of the 14-yr-old schoolgirl’s murder in May 2018.
The jury found Boy B helped lure poor Ana from her home to a derelict house in Lucan knowing that hsi friend was planning on attacking her.
No appeal has been launched from ‘Boy A’ at this time.
