A new €200,000 facility catered for disabled anglers has officially opened in Co Mayo.
The new facility on the River Moy which has a 76m long platform and changing facilities was officially opened by Ministers Michael Ring and Sean Canney on Friday.
Funded mainly by Inland Fisheries Ireland, the new facility is said to make the past time easier for older anglers and and those who have difficulty accessing fishing waters.
The new facility which has been worked on over the last ten years is located at Straide, near Foxford.
