GardaĆ in Co Kerry have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward and contact them following the death of a cyclist on Wednesday.
The appeal comes after the cyclist, a man aged in his 60s was found lying on the road in Colkeragh, between Ballylongford and Listowel, on Wednesday evening.
It is understood the man who was immediately rushed to University Hospital Limerick, sadly passed away on Thursday morning due to the extent of his injuries.
GardaĆ say they are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area to come forward and contact them at Listowel Garda Statio or the Garda Confidential Line.
