A young Irish man has sadly died alongside his Czech girlfriend n a road crash in Thailand.
He has been named as Max Hendrickson and is from Cabra in Dublin.
The 20-yr-old was named Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year in 2023 at the Fresh International Film Festival, who have paid tribute to him on Facebook.
It’s understood that Max Hendrickson was a student in his second year at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
He was travelling on a scooter with his girlfriend in Thailand when the crash happened, reports RTE.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is said to be providing consular assistance to Mr Hendrickson’s family.
