BREAKING: Another Irish woman presents with possible blood clot following vaccine

A reader has contacted The Liberal to inform us that their sister is in hospital attending an A&E in Dublin with a severe pain in her head after getting the covid vaccine.

The Liberal understands that the woman did not receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.

She has had bloods taken and is awaiting a scan to determine the cause of her issues. The patient’s sister told The Liberal:

“We’re very concerned that it could well be a blood clot. My sister is 37 years of age and is a frontline worker. She received her second covid vaccine and was utterly exhausted after it and took to the bed. She hasn’t been right since but got a very bad pain in her head on Sunday evening.”

“We live together and I decided it was best for her to go to in hospital today as the pain hadn’t shifted, so we’re just awaiting what the doctors say but one has already said that they are not ruling out a possible blood clot on her brain. The doctor said that if that is the case, they can treat it and it will thankfully not be fatal and that we’re in the best place, so I’m glad I brought her in”.

Today, the AstraZeneca vaccine has been recommended for people 60 years of age and over, but no confirmation has been made at this time.
