Bank of Ireland has announced that its to close 103 branches in both Republic and Northern Ireland.
It’s understood that the branches which are closing are mostly self-service locations which do not offer a counter service. The branches will all be closed by the end of September 2021.
Bank of Ireland has confirmed that it has agreed a new partnership deal with An Post which will offer Bank of Ireland customers banking services at over 900 locations across Ireland.
Services will include over the counter cash and cheque lodgements and cash withdrawals, with extended weekday opening hours than normal bank branches as well as Saturday opening.
