A large part of Baggot Street is closed off after the Department of Health has been evacuated after a suspicious package was discovered shortly after 1pm.
A significant number of emergency personnel including gardai and the Dublin Fire Service are at the building at Miesian Plaza on Baggot Street in Dublin city centre.
It’s understood that a Bomb Disposal Team from Cathal Brugha Barracks has now been deployed to the building to investigate further. This story is developing.
