A bomb scare has been reported at Dundalk courthouse this morning.
The Army Bomb Disposal were deployed where they say that a device found at Dundalk courthouse was not a viable bomb device. They are now investigation the device in conjunction with gardai.
Courthouse staff have returned to their offices after early been evacuated.
The courthouse was fully evacuated after a bomb warning was phoned in this morning and a search was carried out at the building.
The street was cordoned off and people were told  not to go near the Market Square area.
Today’s jury panel was sent home and told to be back in court at 10am tomorrow.
The Liberal understands that up to 120 people who due in the court today.
