The Northern Irish department of Health have announced that the biggest jump in cases has occurred in the past 24 hours with 11 patients testing positive for covid-19.
The total of cases in the north now stands at 45.
There has been much pressure from the public to close the schools and colleges in northern Ireland but thus far they remain open.
