Temple Bar has confirmed all pubs and nightclubs in the area will be closed with immediate effect due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
In an announcement made this afternoon Temple Bar say all pubs and clubs will be closed for the foreseeable future.
It is understood the decision was made following a meeting between publicans and Gardai.
Temple Bar say the decision was made in accordance with government guidelines.
They added that social distancing has made the possibility of premises remaining open highly difficult.
