It has emerged in the past few minutes that Croke Park could be used as a COVID-19 testing centre.
According to RTÉ News, Croke Park officials have offered the use of the stadium if the HSE want to use it.
RTÉ News reports that the stadium could be used as a significant increase in cases is expected to be announced tonight.
It is believed that residents in the area have been informed by post about the decision.
