The Department for Health has confirmed that 12 people have died from coronavirus today and 431 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 242,015 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,815 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 8.
Today’s numbers are the lowest since mid December.
