Ireland is set to receive an extra 550,000 Pfizer vaccines later this month.
The vaccines, originally scheduled to ship in the latter part of the year, will now be shipped much earlier.
Ireland’s vaccination progress was recently thrown into disarray due to the controversy surrounding the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson jabs.
