According to Metro.co.uk emergency services are currently at the scene of a major incident in London this evening.
It is understood emergency services were called to the Covent Garden area of the city after a taxi mounted the pavement and ran over a number of pedestrians in the area.
Although it is not yet known whether or not the incident is terrorist related, it is understood a number people have been seriously​ injured in the collision.Â
