Gardai in Co Cork have begun an investigation after the body of a woman was found in a burning car in Co Cork.
According to RTE News, the investigation comes after the woman aged in her 70s was found near Doneraile at approximately 4pm.
It is understood that a man has been rescued a near by river and was taken to hospital where he remains in serious condition.
Gardai say an investigation is currently ongoing.
