A woman in her 20s was arrested after a man died following an assault in Co Tipperary last night. Emergency services responded to an incident at a residence in Carrick-on-Suir around 11pm, where the man was found unresponsive.
He was later pronounced dead.
The woman is currently detained at a garda station in Co Tipperary. The scene is preserved for forensic examination, and the man’s body remains there.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted. Gardaà are seeking information from the public and have asked people to contact the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
