Authorities have launched an investigation following the death of a man whose body was found near Summerhill, Co Meath Friday, reports RTE.
The body was discovered in the Agher townland shortly before 10am.
The deceased has been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled to be carried out, reports RTE.
Gardaà have stated that the results of the post-mortem will guide the direction of their investigation.
The local coroner has also been informed.
A technical examination is currently being conducted at the scene, reports RTE.
