
A man in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle collision in County Wexford on Monday morning.
The crash occurred on the R702 road near Curraghgraigue, Enniscorthy, at approximately 11:30am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was later transferred to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, and the local coroner has been informed.
The R702 was closed on Monday for a technical examination by gardaà and has since reopened.
Gardaà are appealing for witnesses to the collision. They are particularly seeking any road users who were travelling on the R702 between 10:30am and 11:30am on Monday, May 18, and may have dash-cam or other camera footage.
