Joe Biden was due to address the nation at 1am Irish time, but when that came and went, CNN reported that the speech is now in doubt tonight as counting continues and that no one can exactly decide what Biden should be described as should he get past 270 votes.

“Sleepy Joe”, as he is affectionately named by President Donald Trump is ahead in the majority of battleground States, but the lead is badly tainted by claims of fraud.
Biden was not expected to declare any type of victory tonight – and if he had done, President Trump had already said that he won’t accept any result until the courts have had their say.
