
A prisoner is currently on the run after escaping from custody in Dublin on Saturday morning. Keith Macken, in his 40s and from Cabra, had been taken to Tallaght Hospital for medical treatment early that morning but managed to slip away from the prison officers around 6am, reports Breaking News.
Macken is currently on remand, awaiting sentencing for assault causing harm. An Garda Síochána has been informed and is actively pursuing him. The Irish Prison Service is also conducting an investigation into how the escape occurred.
