In what can only be described as an extremely poor night for gardai yet again, Debenham workers are involved in a standoff with gardai in Henry St, Dublin.
Some social media users are claiming that gardai were going to attempt to take some stock out of Debenhams at night and that workers who are protesting not getting redundancy heard about it and went to the entrance of the shop.
This cannot be verified at this time, but a Facebook Live video on “Stand With Debenham Workers” shows a very large contingent of gardai in a standoff with workers who are sitting on the ground chanting Ole, Ole, Ole and “We will not be moved”.
