The Taoiseach Micheal Martin is to address the nation live at 6:30pm on RTE News with expectations mounting that there is going to be a full-on Level 5 lockdown imposed on the Irish public once more.
The similar lockdown to March will also see schools closed until at least January 11th.
It’s understood that a full Level 5 lockdown will be re-imposed on the Irish people until at least January 31st.
Schools were initially to reopen on January 6th but will now remain closed until at least Jan 11th.
