In what can only be described as terrible for one Co Clare family, a young boy has been killed in a farming accident.
It’s understood that the boy is aged 14 and was involved in an incident with a tractor in the Milltown Malbay area on Thursday morning shortly after 9am.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The health and safety authority have launched an investigation with gardai at the farm.
