The legendary broadcaster Larry Gogan has sadly died aged 81.
Larry worked in broadcasting for close to 60 years and was best known for his work on RTÉ 2FM where he worked as a DJ for 40 years before moving to RTÉ Gold.
His ‘just a minute’ quiz became synonymous with him and he was always a delight to listen to how genuinely nice he was with participants.
He had been ill lately and predeceased by his wife, Florrie.
RIP
