Gardaí have confirmed that three men have been arrested following an attempted cash-in-transit robbery in Co Meath.
It is understood the arrests come after the group tried to steal a cash box which contained €30,000 from a shopping centre in Clonee.
However despite threatening staff the three were arrested after armed officers moved in whilst they attempted to flee the scene.
Gardaí say the men are currently being detained at Finglas and Ashbourne Garda Stations.
