
Two men, aged in their 40s, have sadly died after a helicopter crashed into a farm building in Co Westmeath on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident, which occurred near Killucan at 3.30pm.

Acting chief fire officer with Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service Pat Hunt told media that there were “a number of casualties”.
Speaking on the Midlands 103 radio this evening, he said: “We understand that it’s an incident involving a helicopter crashing into a building in the Joristown Upper townland in Killucan, Co Westmeath.”
