A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Daniel Aruebose, a young boy whose remains were discovered in Donabate, Co Dublin.
She was detained by gardaà on Monday morning and is currently being held at a Garda station in Dublin for questioning.
Earlier this month, the investigation into Daniel’s death was upgraded to a homicide probe.
Skeletal remains found on September 17 were later confirmed through DNA testing to be those of Daniel, who was last seen alive over four years ago when he was three years old.
Concerns about his whereabouts were only raised last summer, and he would have turned eight earlier this month.
Gardaà have stated that the investigation remains ongoing.
