One of the most iconic heavy metal bands of all time, Guns N Roses have confirmed they’ll headline Slane next year.
It is the first time a line-up consisting of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will have performed in Ireland since Slane in 1992.
The original lineup are back together alongside long-time keyboardist Dizzy Reed, drummer Frank Ferrer, guitarist Richard Fortus and keyboardist Melissa Reese.
Axl Rose however has been back on three occasions in 2006, 2010 and 2012. The last time Guns N Roses played here in 2012, the front man made national news by storming off mid set in the 3 Arena and returning one hour later to finish the gig.
Tickets go on sale on December 9th at 9am for what surely will be the concert of the summer!
