Daytime temperatures reached 25C in places today, with the best of the weather in the west of the country. Dublin however, remained dull and cloudy.
A similar weather pattern will occur tomorrow, with mainly dry and hot weather expected in most places, though there will be scattered outbreaks of rain. Afternoon temperatures will reach low twenties.
Wednesday will see some more widespread rain, though Thursday and Friday will be dry and hot again.
The weather during next weekend is expected to be somewhat cooler but mostly dry.
