British Airways has suspended flights to Tel Aviv after the facility reportedly came under attack by Hamas militants.
It is understood that a BA aircraft was on final approach to Ben Gurion Airport in the city when its captain decided to return to Heathrow.
Hamas militants said that at least one missile struck the airport.
