British authorities have seized heroin worth almost $50m, one of the largest hauls ever.
The operation kicked off on Friday, after security agencies received information about a suspicious ship docked in Felixstowe, a seaside town in Suffolk, England.
The ship sailed away bound for the port of Antwerp in Belgium, always under police surveillance. A container was unloaded at Antwerp and moved onto a truck, which drove to Rotterdam.
There, Dutch police officers moved in and discovered almost 400kg of heroin, with an estimated street value of about $50m.
Three people were arrested in connection with the incident. One of them is believed to be a British citizen.
