Gardaí in Waterford have begun an investigation following two possible petrol bomb attacks in the city overnight.
It is understood the investigation comes after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Dominic’s Place at approximately 3am, whilst a car was set on fire in Grantstown Park at approximately 12am.
Gardaí say they are currently trying to determine motives behind both attacks and unsure whether or not they are related.
They added that no one was injured in either incident.
