British Airways has not yet been able to resume normal service after an IT issue earlier today forced the shut down of check-in facilities across a number of UK airports.
The disruption has prompted the cancellation of 81 flights so far, and has disrupted the travel plans of about 15,000 people, both in the UK and abroad.
As many as 200 flights have experienced delays, some of them of nearly 5h.
A fire near London Victoria station added further travel chaos across London.
