Industrial giant British Steel is today on the brink of total collapse, after a bailout loan may fail to be furnished to the company.
The British government was meant to provide a £30m emergency loan, but the funds may now not be available.
Last-minute talks are scheduled for today, but the company is certain to fall into administration if the outcome of these talks is not positive.
The collapse of British Steel may put up to 25,000 jobs at risk.
