The weather forecast for the coming weekend is not looking too good for the UK, as the Met Office is predicting temperatures of -5C, and snow on some areas of high ground.
If the prediction comes to pass, it will be the coldest May Bank Holiday in decades.
In comparison, the same period last year saw highs of 28C across Great Britain.
Locally, the national forecaster predicts a largely dry weekend, with periods of sunshine, and temperatures of 13-14C at best.
