Millions of drunk and enraged wasps from Germany are laying siege to Britain this summer, according to experts.
Swarms of very aggressive yellow jacket wasps are currently swooping around the British isles. The insects become ‘free’ after providing enough food for their queen and tend to fly around and devour fermented fruit, which makes them enter a state that resembles human drunkenness.
Yellow jacket stings are particularly painful, and if a specimen feels under attack, it sends signals to alert the entire swarm, which might lead to potentially deadly situations.
