Calls for investigation into Lotto system, as the top prize has not been won since June 6

There are calls for an investigation into the current Lotto system, as the top prize has not been won since June 6.

Nowadays, the Irish Lotto works with a draw of 47 balls. The number of balls has increased regularly since 1988, when there were only 36 balls.

In the meantime, the jackpot remains at its maximum of €19m, so get your tickets for Saturday’s draw, you have a slim chance of winning.
