Chief Medical Officer Holohan: “Stay away from pubs and restaurants”




The Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan is putting his foot down and demanding that people buckle up for Christmas week and pay heed to his demands.

Dr Holohan is set to meet and advise the government prior to its Cabinet meeting which will decide on how to proceed with the next lockdown, specifically on the hospitality sector.

Holohan is knocking the hammer down hard on that particular one sector be declaring that regardless of gastro pubs and restaurants currently being open that people should “stay away from pubs and restaurants” over the Christmas period if at all possible.

The Taoiseach Micheal Martin will make an announcement to the nation on Tuesday evening.
