In move that has provoked shock and disbelief, an abortion clinic in the US state of Maryland has offered mothers the opportunity to pose in photographs with their aborted babies.
The Wildwood Medical Centre, an abortion clinic that specializes in ending the lives of babies in their 2nd and 3rd-trimester of gestation has said it will offer the service to mothers to help them with the “with the mourning and grieving process”.
Most of the babies killed at the clinic would be viable outside the womb.
The brochure for the abortion centre states
“Many patients request a remembrance of their baby to take home with them. The following lists items and services that some of our patients have found helpful in their emotional recovery. Every family approaches this experience with their own unique emotional, spiritual, and cultural background.”
This has led to confusion as the babies killed at the clinic are terminated though elective abortions and many have questioned why a mother, who willingly had her baby killed, want a memento of the dead child.
The abortion clinic also correctly refers to the unborn as a “baby” and the woman seeking the termination as a “mother”, language that is generally taboo amongst pro-abortion advocates.
