Gardai are today warning motorists to respect a new 60km/h speed limit on a stretch of the M8 motorway in Co. Cork.
The area in question spans the Fermoy bridge crossing the Blackwater River, both for northbound and southbound traffic.
The new speed limit will be strictly enforced due to ongoing road works in the vicinity.
