The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has urged young people to continue practicing public health guidelines as Covid-19 caess continue to rise.
Dr Holohan has warned that cases will continue to rise and 50% of Friday’s cases were in the 19 to 34 age group and there has been an increase in cases across 22 counties.
The Chief Medical Officer said that people need to keep wearing face masks, washing hands and to continue to keep 2m apart from others.
He added that until you are fully vaccinated you must take precautions.
