The Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan has urged people to sign up for COVID-19 testing after confirming that COVID hospital stays in Ireland have passed the peak of the second wave.
Holohan’s demands come after mixed numbers of confirmed cases over the past number of days.
And he urged the Irish to get tested if they aren’t feeling well in the days ahead.
Holohan said that people should come forward for testing if they feel unwell. He said that people need to know the symptoms of COVID-19, and that they shouldn’t delay in phoning their GP for advice.
