The PSNI have reported that a 49 year old man has been charged with being in charge of a motor vehicle when unfit through drink or drugs after a roadside breathalyser test results were so high, it could could not register the result. The

The PSNI branded the driver a “wannabe killer” according the the DailyMail after the man tested 180 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath on the evidential machine in the police station. The limit for Northern Ireland is 35. They believe this is the highest recorded reading ever for the North of Ireland.

The driver was “weaving like a snake” and ended up in a private garden at Tobermore in Co. Derry on Sunday night. The PNSI said “he did not seem to care at all”. His female passenger ‘roared with laughter’ at the police and complained about how she would get home after being caught.
