Drogheda’s Alison Comyn has been announced as the leading face of the new UTV channel launching in January.
The 44-yr-old has been presenting news on various mediums including BBC and Sky for over 20 years. Her co-presenter at the time, Jill Dando was killed outside her home in 1999.
Alison will now be up against her new nemesis of Grainne Seoige and Sharon Ni Nheolain. She will present the news and a current affairs show every night.
