Mars have announced that they are recalling certain shipments of their sports-cap milk drink products. It is understood that certain drinks pose a possible health risk, due to the potential presence of bacteria in them.
Mars have said that the affected drinks were manufactured by Milchwerke Mittelelbe GMBH, with best before dates between December 19, 2014 and April 11, 2015.
A spokesperson for Mars Chocolate Drinks has said that they are working with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland to ensure all appropriate measures are being followed.
Mars have said the affected products are Starburst Strawberry Drink, Skittles Drink, Galaxy Smooth Milk, Mars Milk and Milky Way Milk, all 350ml.
