Cocooners and over 70s to be given reserved times in public parks from tomorrow

Those who are over 70 or people who have been cocooning during the Covid-19 outbreak will be given a reserved time in public parks in Dublin from tomorrow onwards.

In a move that will allow the over 70s and those with an underlying condition to exercise, all four Dublin regional councils have agreed to allocate the time from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

It is understood the reservations will apply to over a 100 green spaces across the city and those under the age of 70 who don’t have an underlying condition are advised to avoid the areas at those times.
