It is supposed to be summer, but it doesn’t much look like it out there.
Today is expected to be cold and windy, with the sun only occasionally breaking through the clouds. Some torrential downpours are expected in parts of the country later in the day, with thundery showers likely in the east and northeast.
Temperature wise, it will be 10-13C, with fresh and gusty west to northwest winds.
It will be probably be slightly warmer towards the end of the week, however, with the thermometer expected to rise past the mid-teens.
And early indications say that the weekend will be mostly dry with bright sunny spells, but some light rain or drizzle.
