Cold spell set to end, with milder but more unsettled weather conditions to follow

The cold spell raging for the last few days is set to end today, as Met Eireann predicts milder but more unsettled conditions to follow.

Today, Wednesday, will see a lot of cloudy but dry weather, and a few bright periods, these mostly across southern areas. Temperatures will range between 7-10C.

The outlook is for a similar pattern tomorrow, Thursday. It will start cloudy in the morning and then turn brighter as the day goes on, but there will be outbreaks of rain across the west.
